The page is filled with examples so that you can see straight away how the charts work. These are made-up numbers. Remove them before you enter real ones.
This page cannot be made public. That is not a setting but a property of the shared database: the link will open only for someone who is signed in to Claude and has been added to the access list. A random passer-by following the link will be refused.
Rights are separate. Anyone who has been given access can read; changing entries — only someone who has been given the right to edit. That is why “view only” access can safely be given to anyone: such a person cannot damage or delete the data.
What is deliberately missing here is a password on the page. A password in the page code protects only the picture: the data still sits in the database, and whoever has access to it will read it right past any login box. Real protection is the list of people who have been given access, not a password on top of it.
Do not store here card numbers, account numbers or bank passwords. The budget does not need them: amounts, categories and dates give you all the analysis, while a leaked card number costs money.
